Description
Aquacade Camp is located on the banks of the Orange River and is a haven to numerous bird species. The resort is situated in lovely surroundings on a small lucerne farm in Vioolsdrift, 10 km from the border crossing to Namibia on the N7.

We offer self-catering chalets, campsites and river rafting at affordable rates in a peaceful atmosphere filled with beautiful river views. Enjoy spectacular sunsets over the mountain ranges of the Richtersveld and silent, starry nights. You are assured of friendly service and great facilities with every effort made to ensure that our visitors have a pleasant and memorable experience. Activities like fishing, swimming and rafting makes it the ideal family getaway as well as a convenient stopover location on your way to or from Namibia.

Our comfortable wooden chalets are fully equipped for self-catering, with en suite showers, a private braai area and air-conditioning. Each chalet can accommodate up to four persons and bedding is included. The kitchen area is equipped with a fridge-freezer, a microwave, an electric kettle, and cutlery and crockery. Tea and coffee are supplied with our compliments.

Grassed caravan and camping sites are private and each feature a power point, light and a braai area. Each campsite has an under-cover camp kitchen with a table and benches and a sink with running water. Neat and clean ablutions blocks with hot water showers are close to all campsites.

A rafting trip on the Great Orange River between Vioolsdrif and Fish River Canyon offers a truly magical adventure of breathtaking and unique scenery and exciting rapids. We invite you to experience this exciting yet peaceful adventure with us. We offer multi-day river rafting packages and our dedicated and qualified river guides assure every client of a safe, relaxed and fun filled experience whilst sharing their passion and knowledge of the local environment.

Not up to standard <p>The accommodation was not quite the standard we expected.<br> </br>I had to ask twice for more towels (booking for 4 people, only 2 towels in the cabin).</p> <p>The shower still had bundles of hair on the floor as if it hasn't been cleaned after the previous accupants.<br> </br>The bedding (sheets and duvet covers) were very old and thin.  Not sure if it was actualy clean...<br> </br>No hot water at the sink in the kitchen.<br> </br>The kettle was in a questionable state.  Dirty on the outside.<br> </br>The swimming pool was extremely dirty.<br> </br></p>
Aquacade Camp in Vioolsdrift Reviewed by Nataliya Filipouskaya, Germany on . worst organisation ever We arrived and no one was there, we had to drive around to find anyone how could give us a key and show the place. Seems like all the stuff was on holiday, but why didn't they let us know, that no one will be there??? Challets were OK, quite clean, but really simple, for this price we expected a bit more.
