Kierieklapper River House is a luxurious, self-catering family retreat set on the banks of the Crocodile River overlooking the world-renowned Kruger National Park. Kierieklapper River House is the ideal location for families or small groups seeking a unique bush experience.

Kierieklapper River House is ideal for eight adults and two children. This luxurious family home is equipped with four air-conditioned bedrooms, each with its own en-suite bathroom and entrance to the outside. The main bedroom contains a king-size as well as a single bed, bedroom has a queen-size and a single bed, while room three only has a queen-size bed. The fourth bedroom has a double bed. All beds have crisp, white linen and towels are provided. The house is fully serviced daily and a TV with full DStv is available.

Most families spend quality time together by preparing food as a family. Kierieklapper, being designed as a family home, caters for this family tradition by offering an open-plan fully equipped kitchen, an inside braai, a dining area, and an outside deck with a fireplace and a swimming pool. The lounge and top balcony with an excellent view provide the ideal setting for families and friends to enjoy good company and appreciate nature simultaneously.

Kierieklapper River House is ideally situated to explore the Mpumalanga Lowveld. The Crocodile Bridge gate and Malelane gate of the Kruger National Park is only 15 km and 30 km by tarred road respectively. Crocodile Bridge is accessible by tarred road via Komatipoort. A number of excellent golf courses and restaurants are in close proximity at Malelane and Komatipoort with even more choices at Nelspruit and White River about 80 km and 100 km away respectively. We can provide a portfolio with contact details of interesting activities in the surrounding area such as elephant rides, restaurants and the Jane Goodall Chimpanzee sanctuary, to name but a few. The nearest international airport, Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, is at Nelspruit/Mbombela and is about 80 km from Kierieklapper River House.

Our Weekend was for a 50th Birthday celebration and everything was set so wonderfully for us. The layout of the house allows privacy for all guests, bedrooms all away from each other. Beds very comfortable. The Position of the property is just perfect. To sit on the deck and watch the Croc River in silence was a joy. Thank you, I will certainly recommend Kierieklapper to visiting friends.

Alles was perfek en Philip(ek dink dit was sy naam) was baie vriendelik, hulpvaardig en het gesorg dat alles baie skoon en netjies was gedurende ons verblyf en kon ons heerlik ontspan. Die klimaat was heerlik en die kinders het selfs baie tyd in die swembad deurgebring. Almal het die vlakvarke, zebras en diere wat kom rondloer het baie geniet. Baie dankie ook aan Mev Nieuwoudt en haar gade vir die vriendelike onderhandelings en ontvangs daar. Ons sal definitief Kierieklapper aanbeveel aan ons vriende.
