Description
Blythedale Beach is located 45 mins North of Durban on the Dolphin Coast. Blythedale is a small community with stunning beaches on an unspoilt coastline. The lagoon which falls within the Umvoti conservancy provides an abundance of bird life. (3km from main beach) Fishing, musseling and Cray fishing are possible with the appropriate licenses. There is an abundance of bottle-nosed dolphins that visit all year round.

Blythedale Beach has a very low crime rate due to our 24 hour security in our town, which is administered by G4S Security.

The Accommodation comprises:

•3 Self Catering apartments

•All bed linen (White Percale Sheets) are provided for your convenience
•The Lounge / Dinning / Kitchen area are open planned with glass doors opening onto the wooden deck

The rooms were well equipped, clean and very spacious. Jackie was very friendly in all my dealings with her and if we were ever in Blythedale Beach area again, we would definitely stay at Sea Cove Lodge.

The unit was really warm inside, even with the fan on. Needs an air-con. I wouldn't say the unit was in walking distance from the beach.
