Palmhof Chalets offers comfortable accommodation in a small oasis near the Orange River Valley in Kakamas. The accommodation includes self-catering units, as well as bed and breakfast facilities.

We offer 19 self-catering units, each with its own private entrance, parking bay and bedding. The bed and breakfast accommodation includes a hearty breakfast served in our dining room. Modern yet comfortable is at the order of the day with large bathrooms and ample space.

To make your stay as comfortable as possible, we offer a laundry service, security and a shuttle service from the nearby bus stop or airport. The property has a swimming pool where guests can cool off on those warm summer days. The lapa area also has braai facilities.

We offer a conference facility for up to 20 delegates and can organize functions including weddings receptions, parties and tours.

Kakamas is rich in natural wonders. The majestic Augrabies Falls is situated only 38 km from Palmhof Chalets. Activities in the Augrabies Falls National Park include hiking, night drives, canoeing, 4X4-ing and birdwatching. The area also offers vineyard tours and wine tasting at the private wine cellars.

Palmhof Chalets in Kakamas Reviewed by Du Toit van der Merwe, South Africa on . Comfortable enough, but not a lot of natural light in my room. Also, the complex does not have its own swimming pool, but shares one in the back yard of a private home, which was a bit awkward. Otherwise okay.
