Description
Forever Resort Gariep is situated on the banks of Gariep Dam, the largest dam in South Africa and bordering the Gariep Dam Nature Reserve that is home to many species of antelope. It is the ideal stopover between Gauteng and Cape Town in the Free State, just off the N1.

We offer 56 self-catering chalets in different sizes and 122 campsites, all with lovely views over the dam. The resort features three conference facilities that can accommodate between 12 to 300 delegates, all with modern equipment. It is also a great venue for a beautiful wedding with great service.

The resort has a fun putt-putt course, a volley ball court, tennis courts and a large swimming pool with a kiosk to keep guests entertained. Enjoy the buffet-style food at the resort’s restaurant or have a picnic under the large shaded trees.

The dam is a water sport enthusiast’s paradise, this vast expanse of water offers game viewing by boat, windsurfing, fishing, sailing, jet-skiing, canoeing and rowing to name but a few.
