Lake Kariba Inns, with its spectacular views, nestles in a hillside overlooking Lake Kariba. It has been a success for more than 25 years and under the care and attention of the Townsend family, it continues to prosper and grow. Always expanding and improving, Lake Kariba Inns now offers accommodation in 45 air-conditioned rooms. Our meals are real home cooking made with special care and unsurpassed in the area.

We have 24 En-Suite Rooms with satellite TVs, air-conditioning and either double or queen-size beds with showers in the bathrooms. There are 15 Executive Rooms with king-size beds and sleeper couches in spacious rooms with lounges and balconies. We have six Villa Rooms which are spacious with their own private pools, great views, king-size beds and sleeper couches.

Located in Siavonga on the Zambian side of Lake Kariba, which has the mighty Zambezi River running into it, this hotel offers breathtaking views of the lake and the blue hills of Zimbabwe. The hotel owns a variety of boats that guests can hire for trips up the lake, fishing, floating facilities or compliments of the hotel. Guests also have use of one of the pedal boats to cruise around the bay and admire the scenery, or a sunset cruise on our houseboat cruises.

Lake Kariba Inns in Siavonga Reviewed by Kristen Bauer, Zambia on . Beautiful and Delicious We stayed for 3 nights at Lake Kariba Inns over the Easter holiday. We weren't able to stay in one of the remodelled rooms but saw the wonderful updates that had been done to the Villas and Suites. Our room was still adequate but will benefit from renovations. The food was the highlight for us. Delicious fresh fish and wonderful braai nights filled us up every meal. The variety of pools and welcoming bar verandah were a great place to relax and look out over the lake or dine. We didn't have any luck fishing but made time to go out on the boats and enjoy the beautiful views of the Lake. If we lived closer, we'd definitely visit again soon! Lusaka folks are lucky.
