Canyon Lodge is located in the Gondwana Cañon Park, just 20 km from the Fish River Canyon. 30 chalets with private bathroom, built from natural stone and with thatched roofs, nestle between massive granite boulders and convey a sense of living in the lap of nature.

Enjoy sumptuous meals at the restaurant and let yourself be transported to the pioneering days of farming - by the carefully arranged decoration. Relax on the terrace shaded by trees or at the swimming pool and read a book at leisure.

Canyon Lodge in Fish River Canyon Park Reviewed by Pegs Faure, South Africa on . Canyon Lodge This is a surprisingly green oasis in a desert setting. The individual rooms are tastefully decorated with lovely white linen. We enjoyed our buffet style meals, particularly the springbok with pepper sauce. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating with our personal needs. Great stay!

We stayed there over New Year's Eve and our meal consisted of over cooked cold braai meat and cold veg. We also found that around the pool in temp. of 41 degrees plus there was not enough umbrellas. Beautiful setting expensive for what you got!
