The Olifants River itself winds past the Lodge itself, and provides an ideal setting for sipping sundowners, whilst watching a magical Mpumalanga sunset. The Olifants River Lodge is situated 20 Kilometres outside of Middelburg.

Accommodation available varies form Thatched Rondawels, Cabanas, self-catering Villas, and a caravan park. Situated a stones throw from the from the river, in the lush undergrowth of the bushveld, they sleep four and are self-catered. Ideal for couples, these one en-suite rondavels come with meals included. As with all the other accommodation available, a host of facilities are available for you to enjoy with this splendid breakaway.
Our large self-catering cabanas offer you a home away from home. Our Cabanas offer you an open plan lounge with dinning area with a fully equipped kitchen. You cannot beat this choice to relax and breakaway from the hustle of everyday life. For the larger families. These two and three bedroom condos offer the ultimate spacious accommodation. All the condos come equipped with all the standard luxuries and are self-catering. Trailing along the Olifants River bank is the caravan park, ideal for camping and caravanning. Ablution blocks are available. The Lodge offers a superb service as far as conference facilities are concerned. The five conference venues seats from 20 to 200 people (cinema style), and has full catering facilities, situated in a tranquil setting. Equipment includes, big screen television, overhead projector, screen, TV, video and DSTV, flipcharts, fax and typing facilities. Facilities at Olifants River Lodge includes an action-training course, raft building equipment, a heated pool, spacious grounds, rolling lawns, a large swimming pool, hiking trails fishing, darts, pool table and volleyball and paddle-boats.
The ambiance of the valley with wooded riverbanks, teams with bird life and fish, fresh air comfortable accommodation and good home food are the perfect setting for a successful function, conference or seminar.
