Akkerboom Country Cottages comprises three self-catering cottages on a working farm nestled along a stream between the Langeberg Mountains and the Little Karoo. The cottages offer an ideal family holiday venue which is only 2.5 hours from Cape Town.
Each cottage offers en-suite bedrooms, a fireplace and private braai facilities. There is a communal swimming pool and all linen, towels and firewood are supplied. Cottages are screened by indigenous shrubs with stunning views down the Tradouw Valley and onto the orchards and mountains. Akkerboom Country Cottages provides an ideal base from which to explore the attractions of the Little Karoo, or simply the opportunity to relax and enjoy the silence.
The farm lies 40 km from Montagu at the top of the Tradouw Pass and it offers stunning views. We provide easy access to a range of activities in the area. We offer fly fishing, hiking, mountain biking, birdwatching and stargazing. Akkerboom Trading Post is located nearby and it provides wine tasting and lovely meals. |
