Lutzville Hotel is a family hotel providing warm hospitality, slick service and comfortable accommodation. The hotel is situated in the town of Lutzville, near Vredendal, in the wine-growing area. The friendly town of Lutzville is situated 50 km northwest of the N7 road and is sandwiched between the Atlantic Ocean on the West Coast and inland by the Olifants River.

The hotel offers 12 en-suite rooms with either a double or two single beds. Each room features individual décor, comfortable bedding, tea and coffee-making facilities, a fan, radio, and a TV with DStv. We also offer smoking and non-smoking rooms. The en-suite bathrooms feature either a bath or a shower, with just two rooms featuring both a bath and a shower.

In addition, the hotel offers fax services, laundry services, an a’la carte restaurant, parking, pool tables in the public bar area, and slot machines. We also offer a function hall with a dance floor that can be used for weddings or parties for up to 150 guests.

Lutzville boasts a unique and generous display of Namaqualand veld flowers during spring. Depending on the rain, the flower season ranges from July to October. Lutzville is situated in the heart of the floral kingdom and visitors use the town as a base from which to plan their daily excursions into the natural magnificence of Namaqualand. Lutzville wine cellar is the second largest in South Africa. Here visitors can taste and purchase wine in a friendly atmosphere and will be tended to by professional staff. The town also offers a beautiful nine-hole golf course, noted as the best in a wide radius, situated next to the tasting room of the local winery.

Lutzville Hotel in Lutzville Reviewed by chris potgieter, South Africa on . Potgieter, Chris and Anita Disappointing, especially taking the rates into account. We stayed at several guesthouses during our holiday which offered far better value for money. The room and the hotel were dirty, the whole place smelled of smoke, and the service was bad. Will definitely avoid in future and won't recommend to anyone!
