Description
Cyara Bed and Breakfast is a Christian home tucked away on a game farm just 4 km south of Harrismith. The establishment is ideal for smaller families, business travellers and groups.

The guest house offers a variety of rooms that can accommodate between two and six people. The rooms are available on a bed and breakfast basis and some are equipped for self-catering. The guest house has a fully licensed pub, a braai area and a swimming pool available to guests. Activities available include bass fishing, game hikes and birdwatching.

We invite our guests to enjoy sundowners on the deck while watching the sun set over the Drakensberg. Dinner is available on request.

Cyara Bed and Breakfast in Harrismith Reviewed by Bets Koch, South Africa on . We stayed for one night only which was also a blessing as we were very disappointed in the state of the accommodation. Leaking taps in the kitchen that was tied down with a piece of old dirty cloth, the place smelled "wet" which we could still tolerate, but the beds mattresses were in a horrible state. It felt as if the mattress folded in half in the middle and neither of us slept a wink. The owners of Cyara should seriously consider replacing the mattresses with ones much more decent and able to give visitors a restful sleep. The Owner is very friendly and helpful and would get many more overnighters and visitors if he does something to revamp the self catering facilities a little especially the beds, and the area where the undercover parking is situated. It was raining very heavily when we stayed there and if we were not able to park in front of our accommodation, we would have had to carry our luggage and the small kiddies through mud and pools of water drenched terrain to the flat.
