Description
The Schaapplaats Cottages are stone cottages set in the sandstone amphitheatre of the Maluti Mountains, 6 km from Clarens. If you are looking for a tranquil family holiday in a beautiful setting, this is it. Theses sandstone cottages were built before the turn of the century and they provide comfortable accommodation.

There are three fully self-catering cottages that have each been individually decorated. We have the Golden Mole Cottage, the Jemina Puddle Duck Cottage and the Guinea Fowl Cottage. The cottages offer Old-World charm in a farm setting. They are fully equipped for all self-catering needs and there are braai facilities available.

Cottage with a view My wife and I had a wonderful stay.  The Guinea Fowl cottage is comfortable and well equipped with a fabulous view.  So quiet and peaceful.  We went for a walk to see the bushman paintings the morning we left, which we enjoyed. We were sorry that we were only booked in for one night so we were not able to do the circular hike.
