The unrivaled ambience is provided by dusty streets and pretty historical buildings as well as the old furrows which still takes spring water through the town.. Our Church is arguably has one of the most beautiful church buildings in South Africa and also appears on several postcards. Numerous historical buildings and monuments are within walking distance. Your walks will lead you to many historical sites, Guest Houses, Restaurants, our Hotel, up Trappieskop - a magnificent view site of the village, and many a artist can be visited on your tour. Hanover is visited by 12 000-odd Lesser kestrels from Russia in summer. Star gazing under the karoo skies are an exceptional experience. Here we are able to count the stars and not the cars.The milky way is nowhere to be seen as clearly as in the Karoo.
