Gasteplaas Tsalanang is located in Rooigrond, en route to Mafikeng. All the units share a communal kitchen equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, fridge, cutlery and tea and coffee facilities. The establishment has a licensed bar and a lapa where guests can relax. Guests can also cool down in the large swimming pool.
Guests have a choice of staying in one of the Budget Rooms, Hostel Rooms, Double Rooms, Pool Rooms or the Honeymoon Suite. The Budget Rooms, Hostel Rooms and Double Rooms offer comfortable double and three-quarter beds and share the use of communal bathrooms as well as men’s and women’s showers outside. The Pool Rooms offer queen-size beds, single beds, fans and en-suite bathrooms with showers only. The spacious Honeymoon Suite offers a king-size bed, a private bathroom with a Jacuzzi, air-conditioning, a TV with DStv and a bar fridge.
Those looking for something more to do, can visit Mafikeng which is rich in history and offers various historical sites. The Mafikeng Game Reserve is 4600 hectares of open Kalahari grassland and acacia thorn tree, where guests will be able to view buffalo, gemsbok and giraffe. The Botsalano Game Reserve is home to open Kalahari thornveld and over 2000 mammals and 200 bird species. |
