Waterhoek Guest Farm in Mooi River Reviewed by Marina Van Rensburg, Zambia on . DisappointingThis was the most disappointing stay we have ever had. The owner disguise the dirt and filth of the units by using the word " rustic" in his description of the units. Dirty furniture, cutlery, cupboards, linen, oven, microwave, fridge, no kettle, the most disgusting and filthy kitchen bin I have ever seen, dirty and chipped crockery, dirty and dusty carpets. The list goes on. The fire place was still dirty and uncleaned with burnt magazines and place if bags probably since the last people stayed there. The cleaners never cared to clean it while we have stayed there. We have stayed in a thatched unit and no fire extinguisher is available in case of fire. The owners are either satisfied and happy about the condition their guest units are in or they never go and inspect the units. Either way, they show no pride.

Establishments Response:

With regard to the above review, I would like to informeveryone that there is a new manager now running the Waterhoek Guest Farmcottages. Ashley MacDonald has just taken over and implemented a thoroughspring clean and make over of the cottages. We look forward to welcoming guests to our scenic spot right on the MooiRiver.
