Description
Mount View Lodge and Conference Centre was opened in December 2010 and offers guest a tranquil setting with beautiful rooms and views. There are 30 rooms and two conference rooms and is ideal for weddings and conferences.

The spacious rooms are well equipped with bedding provided and modern en-suite bathrooms. All the rooms have large built in cupboards and have views of the town below. Onsite guest will find a bar area with large windows from where guests can enjoy the views. The bar has a TV with DStv channels and is fully licensed.

The property has ample safe parking.

Mount View Lodge in Ladysmith (KwaZulu-Natal) Reviewed by ivan Naidoo, South Africa on . Not impressed We arrived and was immediately taken aback by the lodge. We booked in and were taken to our rooms and we were very happy that we chose Mt View Lodge. We stayed well but the disappointment came the next morning when we went for a buffet breakfast. There was nobody attending to us and there were no sausages or bread to have. We waited for about fifteen minutes before a lady brought in more stuff for the breakfast. That was even more frustrating the next morning as we had to attend a prayer that was starting at 9.00am and the buffet breakfast again was about an hour of waiting and complaining to the lady at reception with no urgency whatsoever. There was only one lady bringing in the items to the dining hall. That was very disappointing indeed.

Friendly staff, clean spacious rooms with exceptional views all round. Lodge just lacks a spa and pool but the good rates and good service overrides that. Thank you for accommodating us, you made Ladysmith a pleasure to visit!
