Mananga Private Bush Retreat is located on a private wildlife estate next to the Protea Hotel Kruger Gate.

Mananga offers a luxurious bush experience, authentically designed and decorated with two beautifully designed en-suite bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, lounge and patio, set beautifully in the heart of the African bush with prolific birdlife and general game. For your convenience breakfast and dinner can be booked at the Hotel.

This owner-managed establishment offers tailor-made safari packages, each uniquely developed to suite your individual requirements, making each moment memorable. At Mananga Private Bush Retreat, we endeavour to make you feel at home. Informative welcome packs are prepared and reservations can be made for transfers, restaurants, safaris, Panorama Tours and adventure activities.

Safaris are done in an open safari vehicle with an experienced guide. Day trips or multiple day tours are done in the renowned Kruger National Park, only 800 meters away. Overnight Safaris in the Kruger Park are also available. Fly in to Skukuza's new airport and we will gladly collect you and transfer to the retreat only 15 km away.

The Panorama Route with its spectacular view points, like God`s Window and the Bourke`s Luck Potholes, Three Rondawels, Blyde River Canyon and beautiful waterfalls are a must see during your stay, private tours can be arranged prior to arrival.

Really private bush lodge The Mananga private bush retreat is a very new and beautiful decorated bush house on the premises of the nearby hotel. its clean, the kitchen is well equiped and the beds sleep well. Little details as lemonwater in the fridge and fresh rhino cookies make a warm welcome.The house is totally private, only kudus, zebras and a genetkat at night visit you. The house is very close to the Paul Krugergate and a perfect place if you want to spend a lot of time in Kruger.
