Protea Hotel Kruger Gate in Skukuza Reviewed by Willem Theron, South Africa on . Good Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Location is exceptionally good - just about as good as it gets. Generally a thoroughly good hotel. Unfortunately their catering let them down. At lunch the service was very slow. We were very disappointed with the "Lapa Dinner". In the past it had always been a memorable occasion, but this time around it was hardly average and in some respects simply unprofessional.
