We are situated in Ermelo, two and a half hours from OR Tambo International Airport, and en route to Mbabane, Swaziland, which is a further one and a half hours from Ermelo.
La Picasso Guesthouse is a five bedroom establishment, with all five differently designed rooms featuring state-of-the-art bathrooms, LCD TVs, DStv as well as free unlimited Wi-Fi. We also have a conference room that can accommodate 20 to 25 people, with both indoor and outdoor braai facilities at R1300.00 per day.
Three of our rooms have private entrances from the parking area to the garden. At La Picasso, we strive to make our guests feel like they are at a home away from home.
We are 1.6km away from Dros Restaurant, 700m away from Ermelo KFC, 750m to Nando's Ermelo and 1.8 km to MacDonald's .

La Picasso Guesthouse in Ermelo Reviewed by Jennifer Chew, England on . We found La Picasso efficiently run, clean and comfortable. An electric heater had been switched on in our room before we arrived, so although it was a chilly winter's evening the room was comfortably warm. A good breakfast was served. Our only reservation was about the lack of any door or screen between the bedroom and the very large and luxurious bathroom.

DissapointingArrived the evening of the 21/04/2015 checked in and was shown to the room, it's wasn't long to discover the DSTV didn't work, and the room floor dirty, big blotches of tomato sauce was left to dry from a previous guests dinner. Wanting to make coffee there was only cheap and disgusting Ricoffy available which isn't coffee. I ended up changing rooms which was much better, the bath leaked water all over the floor, the pillows upon closer inspection seem to be over ten years old, they put two pillows in a pillow case- horrifying at R550 p/n can you not afford to buy new pillows. A questionnaire asks if you have dietary requirments I asked for a pork free breakfast as I don't eat pork as well as carb/sugar free- the morning's breakfast consisted of pork viennas (disgustingly cheap rubbish) bacon and sugared yogurt and toast, glad I only spent a night. Will never return.
