Description
Set in the idyllic Tonteldoos Valley, Woolly Bugger Farm covers 270 hectares of rugged terrain with roaming red hartebeest, blesbok, hares, a resident fish eagle and a few elusive jakkals.

The farm is every fly fisherman’s dream with two large trout dams. Its name Woolly Bugger is derived from a special type of fly used to fish trout. Guests may walk or ride on the nature trails that cover the expanse of the farm.

The Ginger Quill Cottage offers accommodation for four guests in two double bedrooms, with the option for a further two adults or four children to be accommodated on two double sleeper couches in the lounge.

Sedgehog cottage offers accommodation for four guests with one bedroom downstairs and a loft upstairs. Folding glass doors open up the whole cottage to spectacular views.

Blue Dunn Cottage offers accommodation for four guests in two double bedrooms, with the option for a further two adults or four children to be accommodated on two bunk beds in an alcove off the lounge.

The Half Hog is a cosy stone cottage, that is ideal for two. The open-plan cottage has a kitchen as well a private bathroom. A fireplace keeps the cottage warm in winter and a portable braai is available on the patio.

Woolly Bugger Farm in Dullstroom Reviewed by megan tapson, South Africa on . Best Place to Escape to and Relax! We had an absolutely, much needed rest and relaxation at Woolly Bugger Farm. The road is a bit tricky to tackle with a low clearance vehicle, but we got there safely, just had to drive slow. The cottage was beautifully set up with everything you could ever need, the bed was so comfy I could have slept there for days. We had a lovely fire in the evenings and watched the sunset which was beautiful. We recommend to truly get the rest you need,  is to switch off your phones and stay atleast 3 nights. We will be back soon!
