Hotel South Beach Resort in Kibada Reviewed by Joanne Veldhorst, Kenya on . DisappointedHad planned a quiet getaway for the weekend, and was sorely disappointed. From about 1 to 8 pm, the music/bass was so loud that we could not escape it - heard it on the beach, in our room, everywhere - and had to leave the resort to get away from it. It interfered with reading, conversation, enjoyment of the surroundings. When asked if they could turn down the bass, they refused.

Food was ok, only one menu to choose from for lunch and supper. We checked out, settled the bill. The following day, after arriving home, I receive an email from the resort stating that I had not paid in the right currency and still owed them more money, how did I want to settle this. The receipt clearly stated that I had paid in full in the correct currency selected and my account confirmed that. Is this a scam?!
