Description
The Berghuisie is an exclusive, fully contained self-catering cottage and can accommodate a maximum of four people. It has two bedrooms and one bathroom. The main bedroom has a double bed and the twin room has two single beds. The unit is book as a whole. So there is private and exclusive use of the whole unit for the guests.

A gravel mountain pass road winds its way up the Makhonjwa Mountains, surrounded by ancient rocks which tell an epic story of the Barberton rocks, where life began. This is the cradle of life as we know it.

Berghuisie is a fairytale-like mountain cottage; home of legends, adventurers, businessmen, travellers, celebrities, geologists, scientists, researchers, nature lovers, honeymoon couples, gypsies and artists. The cottage is exclusive and private in a safe, tranquil environment. It is surrounded by an abundance of nature and natural beauty, bird life and spectacular views over the Barberton Valley.

Berghuisie is 7 km from Barberton, 70 km from the Kruger national Park and 50 km from Swaziland. Activities include hiking, mountain biking, paragliding, 4x4-ing, birdwatching, swimming, reading and relaxing.

It's lovely view is extravagant. The location is perfect for relaxing after a long week of hard work. This escape was truly  worth every penny. Located high up in the Baberton Mountains, we were alone & loving it!
