Description
Heatherhill is situated on a 37-hectare farm in the countryside which is only 9 km from Plettenberg Bay. Set on a hill, the farm offers views of the bay and the Tsitsikamma Mountains. The Keurboomstrand beach is a five-minute drive away.

The accommodation available is an open-plan loft which has a private sun deck overlooking the mountains and the Indian Ocean to the south. The loft sleeps up to four guests sharing. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and the en-suite bathroom includes a shower over the bath. Fresh linen and towels are replaced weekly and beach towels are available on request.

The farm has five dams which are each stocked with bass and it offers tranquility amongst the fauna and flora of the Garden Route. Walking paths on the farm and an information pack is provided for local attractions. Plettenberg Bay is a mere 10-minute drive away and it offers a variety of shops, restaurants, beaches and a cinema. Each season offers the visitor something special, whether it be the whale season, the different wild flower seasons or the December holiday season. Enjoy ocean safaris, nature walks, various golf courses, horse riding or visits to Monkeyland, Birds of Eden, the Knysna Elephant Park and the Reptile Sanctuary.

Heatherhill in Plettenberg Bay Reviewed by Thomas Simpson, South Africa on . Excellent! My family of 5 just spent 4 nights at Heatherhill and it definitely exceeded our expectations. The loft is a little small for a big family but it is very well designed and highly functional. The views are amazing. Mountains on one side and the bay on the other. Peter did a fantastic job of hosting us. He was always available when we called on him. This property is very family friendly. There are swings, ponds, peacocks, and even a see-saw. My children had a blast. We were even greeted with a box of Belgian chocolates beside the bed! Many thanks to Peter for offering a great value and wonderful experience for our family. We highly recommend Heatherhill.
