Description
Beachfront Holiday Cottage is a charming self-catering cottage, beautifully situated right on the beachfront, with direct beach access from the patio. The cottage is situated in The Point Village, Mossel Bay and is within walking distance to various restaurants, shops and a tidal pool for swimming. This cottage is ideal for a family holiday, or a group of friends.
The cottage offers an open-plan designer interior and can accommodate up to six guests in comfort. There are a total of three bedrooms and two bathrooms, and two of the bedrooms enjoy sea views. The main bedroom contains a double bed, and an en-suite bathroom with a bath and a shower. This room features sliding doors opening onto the sea-front patio. The second bedroom contains twin single beds, and also has sliding doors opening to the patio. The third bedroom contains twin single beds. The second and third bedrooms share a second bathroom with a bath. Percale linen and towels are provided.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering and includes a breakfast bar with stools. The open-plan lounge and dining area boast a six-seater dining table, and a TV with DStv. Sea views can be enjoyed from the lounge and dining area, and there are large sliding doors opening onto the patio with patio furniture and braai facilities. Undercover parking for one vehicle is provided.

Idyllic settingBeautiful views from the cottage - saw whales daily, as well as seals, dolphins and a shark from the patio. Restaurant just 2 or 3 minutes walk away along the beach, but is tucked back slightly so you would not know it was there if you looked out. Peaceful location, but just 10 or 15 minutes walk from a big supermarket, the Craft Centre, souvenir and coffee shops, restaurants etc. The cottage itself is clean and tidy. The sitting/dining area looks fantastic and looks out to the sea, the kitchen is spacious, but fairly basic. Beds were comfortable and two of the three bedrooms have stunning sea views. The bathrooms were adequate, though the water pressure is low. Only real negative was that the Wi-Fi was pretty non-existent most of the time and very slow when we did manage to connect. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and would happily go back.
