The River Shack is a secluded little piece of Heaven situated in a nature reserve on the Blind River Mouth.
This quirky yet charming holiday home is the perfect getaway for those who enjoy total privacy, nature and the ocean. Nestled right next to the river with breath taking views – this is the ultimate retreat where you can truly unwind and be one with nature.
The balcony takes full advantage of the spectacular views of the river, dunes and unspoilt beach that stretches for miles. The braai deck is the perfect spot to enjoy a feast with your family and friends. Situated right next to the braai deck, are stairs leading down to the river. A lovely grassed area awaits where you can relax and watch kids play or you can take the paddle ski and explore at your leisure.
The River Shack can accommodate up to eight guests. The main bedroom has a double-bed with an open-plan en-suite bathroom. There is another room with a double bed and a further two rooms with two single beds each. The kitchen is fully equipped and the house is comfortably furnished with everything you may need. For those chilly nights, there is an indoor fireplace which goes perfectly with deliciously prepared meal and glass of wine.
If you enjoy nature and exploration, Moquini Estate is home to a variety of local wildlife and indigenous fynbos. A few meters from the River Shack, is a beautifully scenic boardwalk that leads to the beach. |
