NA Smit Oudtshoorn Holiday Resort is located in the heart of Oudtshoorn allowing you the opportunity to explore the world's “Ostrich Capital” and the Klein Karoo's many tourist attractions. The lovely view over the Swartberg Mountains, the calm and windless nights and the contagious tranquility of the surroundings will ensure that you return.

Visitors can choose between self-catering chalets or luxury houses. We offer 24-hour reception and friendly service because your comfort always comes first. During summer, guests can cool down in fenced saltwater swimming pool or visit Oudtshoorn's Olympic standard pool located next to the resort. We are the ideal venue to exchange stories around a campfire or to simply relax under the starlit Karoo sky.

The resort is within walking distance of the centre of town and from attractions such as Arbeidsgenot, the suspension bridge, the CP Nel Museum and spectacular ostrich feather palaces. Places to see in the area are the Cango Caves which are limestone caves with formations 20 million years in the making. Scenic, standard and adventure tours are available throughout the day. Ostrich Show Farms teach people more about the peculiar bird around which much of Oudtshoorn's economy revolves. Cango Wildlife Ranch is one of the most successful breeding-in-captivity programmes for cheetahs in the world.
