Description
Numbi Valley Permaculture Farm’s self-catering cottage is situated in a secluded Klein Karoo valley surrounded by natural vegetation with views of the magnificent Swartberg mountains.

The accommodation is an old labourers quarters that has been fully renovated to stylish and comfortable accommodation with original features still in use.

A scenic 12 km drive from the farm, up the rural Middelplaas Valley, brings you to the De Rust village and the beginning of the awe-inspiring Meiringspoort. There are tranquil walks and mountain bike routes on calm country roads and other attractions like the Cango Caves and Swartberg Pass along the eastern Klein Karroo which are easily accessed.

The farm also boasts a refreshing plunge pool with a relaxing shaded entertainment area and outdoor fireplace. By arrangement you can enjoy a catered pizza meal from our pizza oven or a health-giving and rejuvenating herb bath in an outdoor cob fire bath.

Private, tranquil, comfortable... I didn't want to leave. Next time will be a longer stay with hours to swim, walk and gaze at the magnificent surrounds. This is perfect if you want to experience how one can live in harmony with nature in an environmentally sensitive way... the permaculture gardens were fascinating too.
