Description
Swartberg Street Guest House is situated in the charming little town of Laingsburg, a year-round holiday destination set between rugged hills and vast plains.

We offer five fully furnished self-catering units ranging in size. The units are equipped with comfortable double- or single beds, kitchens, lounge areas with DStv and braai facilities. All bed linen and towels are provided.

This friendly town is located at the gateway to the Great Karoo, offering proud tradition of old-fashioned hospitality. This is the perfect place to just relax and get away from the busy city life. There are some tourist attractions to explore, such as our Flood Museum and artwork remembering the 1981 flood.

Our monthly farmers market is definitely a place to be, held on every last Saturday morning of the month. The products range from freshly baked goodies, meat, meals prepared for the freezer as well as flowers and crafts.

Unacceptable I booked this for my son and daughter in law - paid the deposit online and paid the balance direct to Swartberg Guest House - attention Annarene Theron. I received confirmation of payment. On arrival my daughter in law was told there was an outstanding amount owing, she told them that she had been told it was paid in full but whoever checked them in insisted there was an amount outstanding. My son phoned me and fortunately I had given him all the back up papers showing deposit and final payments being paid, and confirmation from Swartberg. Only when my son showed them the paper work did the person confirm that all was in order. I find this unacceptable and unprofessional - that put a total damper on their stay.
