Glenwood Lodge in Glenwood (George) Reviewed by Janet Ellis, South Africa on . Awful accomodation The rooms were grubby/dirty and the linen very old and faded. The room was cold with no heaters and the mattresses are so thin and awful. They have a rooster that wakes you at 5:30 and doesn't stop crowing until 7:30 the gardens were untidy with leaves everywhere and dog poo. The next door dog barked if anybody moved in the garden. The price was for 4 star accommodation and it is a 1 star guesthouse. We were booked in for 4 nights and paid for 4 nights but left after 1 night and were told no refund policy. <br />
Glenwood Lodge in Glenwood (George) Reviewed by Jennefer Mumford, South Africa on . Glenwood Lodge My overall stay was pleasant. Room was clean and tidy but lacked personal touches eg. no drinking glasses or a jug for water that one could put in the fridge. No shampoo. There was also no tea/coffee with cups and saucers and kettle which I found rather disappointing being a early riser. Also there was absolutely no place to lock away valuables.
