Description
Jubilee House is situated on the outskirts of the picturesque village McGregor, next to the Kraans Nature Reserve. Jubilee House is surrounded by a manicured garden of 2000sqm with a pool and braai (BBQ) area. The spacious house can sleep up to six people in two double bedrooms and a loft room with a double futon bed. Two bathrooms are available. The spacious kitchen is fully-equipped the dinning table can seat six people. The lounge has a fireplace. The house will be serviced every day.

Jubilee House in McGregor Reviewed by Cengey Greeff, South Africa on . Hidden Gem in McgregorThis is truly a gem, we were greeted and taken through the property upon arrival. The house is absolutely amazing and the pictures on this site doesn't do it the justice it deserves. During our stay, the caretaker brought the wood for our fireplace and braai and made us feel welcome at all times. I absolutely enjoyed the peace and quiet, but could also have fun with my family and friends. The house had an abundance of towels and linnen and comes with everything you need. I was actually sad to have left and that it's now booked out for a while. I am definitely coming back and would recommend Jubilee house to anyone that needs a break from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Jubilee House in McGregor Reviewed by Grace Stevens, South Africa on . EhHaving stayed at the house before, we were expecting a lovely weekend. There was no one to meet us and the house keeper told me that she didn't know we wer coming. Which was strange, as I'd confirmed in an email that same day. THe pool was green and the kitchen table was sticky along with a layer of dust over all the furniture. Some of the pot plants were even dead, so it really had a neglected feel to the place. I was really dissapointed. We also couldn't find any fire lighters, as tehh previous guests, must have used them up. Making a braai, was not that easy. The dishwasher door was broken and really was a bit of am accident waiting to happen. We are fortunate that it didn't fall on anyone. The bin lid was broken too and wouldn't shut, so there were alot of flies around it. Not very pleasant. All in all, my kids had a great time, despite the green pool. But I felt we'd paid too much for the accomodation for the state it was in.
