Description
Ceres Inn is situated in the heart of Ceres, next to the main shopping centre in the town. The inn is surrounded by a stunning 360-degree view of the Skurweberg and Matroosberg mountains, and in winter, these mountains are covered in snow and make for excellent day trips or 4x4 adventures.

During the week, the inn is used by many corporate clients, as there is Wi-Fi throughout the building, as well as conference facilities for training and meetings. It is frequented often by travellers and adrenalin junkies on the weekends as a stopover or just for a breathing place before they venture into the Ceres Karoo or the Cederberg mountains. Both adventure sports people and tourists alike enjoy relaxing at the poolside and in our lovely gardens.

The inn has been here, in Ceres, for over one hundred years and there are parts of the original building still evident in the restored and extensive facilities. It is now run by the Els and Witherley family who are all related, adding a real homely atmosphere to guests' stay.

In the evening, guests can entertain themselves in the quaint English-style pub and enjoy their favourite beverage along with some friendly banter. If this is not your thing, there are beautiful gardens to relax in and enjoy some fine wine or a lovely prepared meal from Witherley's Restaurant. In the winter months we always have a fire burning in the restaurant and we invite guests to kick back, relax and warm up.

Accommodation is offered in 14 lovely, well-appointed guest rooms; 10 of which are en-suite, with DStv and air-conditioning. The other four rooms share two bathrooms, and are available at a reduced rate.

Room Everything was ok except that I asked for a double bed and instead get 2 singles.<br></br> <b>Establishment's response</b><br></br> <i>The original request by Carin van Wyk read as follows: 2 x Double room (not double bedded room) 2 Adults We read this as two adults travelling together, needing their own room. Nowhere on the request was mentioned that they were a couple requiring a double bedded room I regret that the guests were unhappy about having twin beds (pushed together). I just wish that Mr van Wyk had complained upon being checked in, as there were other double bedded rooms available… we were not fully booked. The room they were in could have been made up into a kingsize bed within minutes. Please convey this message to the van Wyks and offer our sincere apologies. Kind Regards, Louise Els</i>
