Description
Inverdoorn Game Reserve and Iziba Safari Lodge offer a unique, big 5 safari experience close to Cape Town. Situated across 10 000 hectares in the Ceres Karoo, our rangers will regale you with their knowledge of African wildlife. Over 1 200 animals roam free on the reserve and you could encounter any number of them while on a safari. Inverdoorn is home to an incredible diversity of animals including zebras, giraffes, hippos and meerkats, various species of antelopes, bird life and the big five.

The reserve prides itself on excellent hospitality, magical game drives and cheetah interactions through the Western Cape Cheetah Conservation. Day trips and overnight stays are available, offering safaris and delectable meals proffering a fine fusion of French and South African cuisine using only the freshest, locally sourced and seasonal ingredients. Luxury accommodation options are available for overnight guests.

There are two chic guest houses which are perfect for families and large groups. The seven chalets boast four stars and are ideal for couples or singles sharing. The four luxury chalets, boasting five stars, have communal roof terraces for guests to relax on and enjoy the breathtaking views. The opulence of the exclusive, five-star Ambassador Suite offers a private game drive, as well as a private roof terrace.

Driving through the winding glorious mountain passes and vineyards will bring you to Inverdoorn, which is a mere two and half hour drive from Cape Town. Guests are able to drive themselves or arrange transfers through the lodge. The area is malaria free, assuring you comfort and ease as you take in the best that nature has to offer.

Inverdoorn Game Reserve in Ceres Reviewed by Morten Soerensen, Norway on . Kjempespennende!!! Safari i åpen bil var kjempespennende. Spesielt da vi fikk vite at de ikke har våpen i bilene.... Inverdoorn Game Reserve er en flott oase ute i ødemarken. Kan anbefales på det varmeste :-)
Inverdoorn Game Reserve in Ceres Reviewed by Hans Lambers on . Great experience "Inverdoorn" was great in many ways. The animals hat were there to see in a natural setting were great. The accommodation, hospitality and food were fabulous. I would recommend it to anyone to stay there for more than one day - two would seem optimal.
