Description
Grootkloof Chalets and Campsite is situated 30 km off the N7 highway in the Algeria region of the Cederberg Wilderness. The property offers two comfortably furnished cottages and 15 campsites.

The self-catering chalets are completely private and surrounded by fynbos and citrus trees, and offers stunning views of the surrounding mountain range. Bedding is included in the chalets. The 15 campsites offer braai facilities, water and electricity and allows for six people per site. Bedding is provided in the chalets. Guest will need to bring their own towels and extra blankets.

Situated on the banks of the Rondegat River, visitors can swim in a natural swimming hole, do mountain biking or hiking and become part of the silence nature offers. The noise in the mountains will only come from baboons and leopards.

Bad experience We had a bad time there..no towels, no fan (during summer of 40°), no mosquito net on the bed so impossible to turn the light on after 8pm because of insects ( no reading at night ). All our guest in South Africa have been so friendly but not this one as you feel she doesn't care about your comfort, only your money.
