This gracious guest house is situated in the lovely suburb of Newlands, Cape Town, nestled at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with views of Table Mountain. It is an English mews-style house, elegantly decorated by the owner with comfort and style. This little gem is one of Cape Town’s best-kept secrets.
On arrival, you will be greeted by Martin Chirwa, the manager. Downstairs you will find a large lounge, dining room and one single room while upstairs are three double air-conditioned bedrooms with televisions and en-suite bathrooms. There is also a small work station with a telephone, fax, computer and Wi-Fi facilities. Adjacent to this is a TV room which opens out onto a deck with wonderful views of Table Mountain.
A marvellous gourmet breakfast is included, and additional meals can be catered for if requested. There is also a laundry and ironing service available. With off-street parking and being conveniently close to the airport, the University of Cape Town, wonderful shopping areas, restaurants, and Newlands cricket and rugby grounds, the guest house is an ideal base from which to explore the wonders of Cape Town. |
