Ecotel Midrand offers comfortable, clean, convenient and affordable accommodation. Rooms are spacious and equipped with queen-size beds, TVs, writing desks, mirrors, heaters and fans, and an en-suite bathroom with a shower.

Guests can make use of the communal kitchen with a microwave and fridge. There is a communal dining area where guests can relax and enjoy a meal. Other facilities include a wellness corner, a drinks vending machine, a coffee making machine, Internet corner, a 24-hour taxi service, a swimming pool and 24-hour reception.

The hotel is situated next to Midrand's Boulders Shopping Mall and The Gautrain station is just a walking distance from the hotel. It’s also a few minutes’ drive from Grand Central Airport, Kyalami Race Track, Kyalami Country Club, Kyalami Equestrian Club, Sumatra Country Spa, and Sandton City Shopping Mall.

Not up to standard! <p>The room was very small and basic, unfortunately the ceiling fan, bedside lamp and tv remote were all not working! The button on the intercom for the gate is also missing so you push directly onto the pin!<br> </br> <br> </br>Access to the room was via an outside path onto a narrow verandah, not ideal in inclemet weather.</p> <p>There was also no floor mat in the bathroom and the handbasin cold water tap is loose.<br> </br> <br> </br></p> <p>We were not impressed and will not stay there again.</p>

I was told it's due to load-shedding but i feel we should have been notified prior to our arrival in case we needed to make alternative arrangements</p> <p ></br> - I found out in the morning that the room price did not include breakfast. Some clarity on this beforehand would have been appreciated</p>
