Hakuna Matata means “no worries” and this is what we strive for our guests to feel when they arrive at our much-loved guest house in Koffiefontein.

A unique and stylish African theme décor welcomes guests with accommodation that is comfortable, colourful and creative; a flair that runs throughout the establishment. A restaurant provides three delicious and affordable meals a day and service provided is friendly.

Home in the little mining town of Koffiefontein, it may not be the biggest town you will ever visit but it is an area with a rich history. Not only was Koffiefontein the place where some notable figures from Afrikaner history was interned before the Second World War but it was also the home of one of the great authors of Afrikaans literature, Etienne Le Roux.

Hakuna Matata Guest House in Koffiefontein Reviewed by Anne Henn, South Africa on . Never again Wow, what a ripoff, to pay R650 for a double room with no windows, patio or balcony or view as stated on the website, and a breakfast where the eggs and sausage were so overcooked they would have bounced off the floor! It was like sleeping in a wooden container.Management disappeared so fast we couldn`t ask for a change of accomodation .This was a visit never to be repeated.
