Sea Glass is a welcoming self-catering guest house, built specifically for family holidays. The house has an expansive atmosphere with high ceilings, spacious rooms and wide open balconies. A spectacular uninterrupted view of the main beach from all levels with a wonderful sea breeze coming up the small valley, will ensure that you get that ‘holiday feeling’. The unique open-plan design of the house, making use of the sloping sea-facing plot, ensures that each member of the family can be involved in activities, regardless of being in the kitchen, lounge or dining room.
Sea Glass is situated in Freeland Park, an exclusive suburb of Scottburgh, and is just minutes away from a host of popular coastal town activities, from deep sea and shipwreck diving to surfing or simply soaking up the subtropical sunshine on the local main beach which is only a two minute walk for adults. On arriving back home there is an outside shower to wash off all that sand, and a pool to cool down in while taking in the surf break on the beach with a glass of wine.
The open-plan kitchen has a modern Mezzanine design with beautiful granite counter tops and is fully equipped for self-catering. The kitchen boasts a modern hob stove with under-counter oven, a microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, and a washing machine and tumble-dryer.
The large open-plan lounge and dining area has an open, angled high beam ceiling and white porcelain tiles to accommodate the sub-tropical climate. Furnished with a leather couch, large cane chairs and a comfortable sofa; the lounge area overlooks the garden and has a fabulous, uninterrupted view of Scottburgh main beach in the near distance. The French double doors lead out to a wide open balcony, fabulous for all day family gatherings or lounging in a beach chair with a good book. For the evenings with the family, there is a TV and a DVD player for those family movie nights. The dining area has a bar fridge and an eight-seater dining room table with chairs.
The property has a sizeable garden area, great for kicking a ball around. Or you can relax on the cool shaded veranda with its splash pool or fabulous upstairs sundeck. Because the property was designed for family holidays, there is plenty of parking available, for at least three cars, safe within the premises which is secured by an electric gate, palisade fence and movement monitor beams. Fully alarmed internally as well, Sea Glass will give you peace of mind so you can simply relax and enjoy your vacation. |
