Captain Lee Lodge is located in the village of Inhassoro, a fishing village situated on the mainland across from Bazaruto Island and 80 km from Vilanculos. To the north is the point where the Govuro river mouth meets the ocean, home of the dugong and an excellent area for snorkelling. Bazaruto Island is 30 km from the lodge and boasts a great variety of fish, making it the ideal fishing and diving spot. Whales and dolphins also romp in these wonderful waters.

Endless pristine beaches, gentle seas, stunning sunsets and sunrises, blue skies, and excellent birdlife makes this the ideal getaway. There is nothing rushed about this place, unchanged for thousands of years. Situated on top of a dune with breathtaking sea views to be shared with the special people in your life, you will find Captain Lee Lodge.

The lodge echoes of luxury and comfort, with two Executive Suites featuring a TV lounge, private balconies, minibar, air-conditioning, and mosquito nets decorating the beds. In addition, there are three well-appointed Standard Rooms with an en-suite bathroom, air-conditioning and a mosquito nets.

Our guests have the option to accommodate the whole lodge and make use of our self-catering option and we also offer rooms on a catering basis. A cash bar is available and we have a delightful beach lapa, ideal for sundowner or picnics. Facilities available at the lodge include laundry, transfers, deep-sea fishing, island hopping, and dhow trips. There is much emphasis on personal service and warm hospitality at Captain Lee Lodge.
