Jongenskloof Country Retreat just two hours away from Cape Town is a tented camp situated on the banks of a mountain stream and offers a tranquil hideaway nestled between Riviersonderend and Swellendam with unsurpassed natural beauty in an uncompromised environment.

Our rustic bush camp allows our guests the opportunity to reconnect with nature where Guests stay in their choice of six self-catering wooden, safari-style Tented Huts which sleep two guests comfortably *(linen and towels not provided).

The huts share the use of neat marble restrooms that offer refreshing hot water showers and flushing toilets. The farmhouse has been converted into a communal kitchen equipped with a fridge, a gas stove, microwave and basic cutlery and crockery. Guests and groups can enjoy their meals in the rustic dining room or make new friends and have a great time with family or colleagues by making use of the available braai facilities.

This bush camp retreat is ideal for groups who wish to build team spirit or a group of friends and family who just wish to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city.

This bush camp will reconnect you with nature and gives you the opportunity to relax while breathing in the fresh air and enjoying the breath-taking vistas. Various indigenous flora, fauna, birds, amphibian and reptile species can be found, and the surrounds offers a chance of a variety of activities such as mountain biking, hiking or swimming. Guests can also go on a 3 km 4x4 mountain drive and soak up the scenic beauty of the area which offers an indescribable sense of freedom.

You get a piece of paradise next to a river to yourself where you can relax or make noise to your heart's content.
