Description
The luxurious Eco-Eden Bush Lodge can be found 15 km east of Nelspruit in the heart of the Crocodile River Mountain Conservancy. This nature conservancy is located in the Krokodilpoort Mountain Range, between the Kruger National Park and the historical gold-diggers town of Barberton. The conservancy boasts some of the oldest granite outcrops on planet Earth and a substantial number of wildlife species still roam freely in this wilderness area.
The Numbi, Paul Kruger, Phabeni and Malalane entrances to the Kruger National Park are a mere 40 minutes’ drive away. Transport to and from the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport and Nelspruit are available on request. Guided tours leave from the lodge to popular tourist destinations such as the Panorama Route which has the Blyde River Canyon, Pilgrim’s Rest and God’s Window.

The rooms were spacious, beds so comfortable and the food was delicious. We really appreciated the detail that went into every aspect of our stay. It was wonderful to experience the bush in such comfort and elegance.

Cozy retreat, excellent food and serviceWe spent a three-day weekend at the Eco-Eden Bush Lodge. The 'family' room we stayed in was spacious, with a door directly to the garden. We booked late and noticed that some of the other rooms have nice balconies with views onto the beautiful surrounding countryside. The lodge is compact but very well-maintained. We were pleasantly surprised that the food was excellent, as the price was very reasonable compared to nearby options. The lodge has a nice swimming pool and a lovely walking path up into the hills. It is about 20 minutes into Nelspruit, but you are really out in the country here. The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and accommodating.
