Cedar Peak Cottage, Nyanga is located in the Cedar Peak Game Reserve nestled among the indigenous dwarf msasa trees and the rare cedar trees.

The cottage enjoys sweeping views of the largest Zimbabwean mountain, Mount Inyangani which is a soaring 2600 m, and the Nyanga district as well as Mount Rupararo, also known as the Bald Man's Head.

Here one can experience the sheer solitude of this location, where misty nights chilled by the fresh mountain air are warmed by log fires over a bottle of red. Please note the cottage has no electricity, though there is gas and a generator on site. One will leave the trappings of city life and disconnect for a while.

Located in near proximity and in view of the Nyanga National Park, Cedar Peak Cottage, Nyanga is located in this popular Eastern Highlands tourist destination with its fishing, golf courses, mountain hikes and rivers. The surrounding areas also contain many Stone Age and Iron Age archaeological remains such as pit structures, stone forts, terraces and pathways; one of which is located on the property.

The cottage has no electricity We spent the nights in darkness as the generator was not functioning despite us buying the fuel. The cottage was also well over priced Compared to similar cottages in the area that have electricity The bathroom was pouring rain and as it was raining all time this could not be used safely Very hospitable gentleman looking after the place good guy indeed
