Wake up to the sound of wild birds in peaceful surroundings, scattered with vineyards and mountains. Sleepy Willow Country Accommodation is conveniently situated on The Valley Road, between Stellenbosch 12km and Paarl 12km, at the wine-growing foothills of the Simons Berg Mountain. The perfect location from where visitors can either explore the many famous Wine Estates in the area, or take trips to Stellenbosch, Paarl, Franschoek and Cape Town International Airport only a 30min drive away.
Willow Cottage: Feel totally private and comfortable in this elegantly furnished two bed roomed cottage with its relaxing atmosphere. Surrounded by rolling lawns, a lily pond and Weeping Willows, and majestic mountains only a short walk away, you can completely unwind in this natural setting. Willow Cottage guests can also relax at the beautiful pool on the farm or enjoy a picnic next to the Lily Pond.
Facilities includes two en-suite bed rooms, one queen-size bed, two single beds, open-plan Kitchen and living area, private patio and barbeque, Free Wi-Fi in the cottage and firewood for the log fire, Bath and swimming towels provided. Luxurious linen including feather down duvets, small amount of toiletries, tea, coffee, sugar and milk supplied. Stand alone with separate driveway and entrance, fully equipped self-catering, cleaning service included but not on weekends and public holidays, laundry services are available on request and on-site parking. The cottage sleeps five, abed for a fifth person is provided in the main living room.
Jonkers House Twin Rooms sleeps total of six in three separate twin rooms. The Jonkers House, is part of a magnificent Cape Dutch Homestead with thatched roofs and white washed walls. Perfectly kept gardens in a serenely beautiful setting. Simplistic rooms, each with an en-suite bathroom and shower over bath and separate entrances. Feather down duvets and towels provided. The spacious rooms each have a mini fridge, ceiling fan and safe deposit box. Coffee and tea-making facilities are available to guests in the breakfast room. On-site parking. Meals on request.
Things to do: Many famous wine Estates are within 5 km from us, including Le Bonheur, Warwick, Uitkyk, Kanonkop and Lievland. Lots of restaurants in the area to choose from. At least five Golfing Estates including Stellenbosch, Pearl Valley and Boschenmeer within 20 km from us. Butterfly world, Tygerberg Zoo, Drakenstein Lion Park, The Giraffe Park, Le Bonheur Croc Farm, all within 15 km to keep the children busy. 25 km Away from Jonkershoek nature reserve and 20 km away from Paarl Mountain nature reserve. Or just enjoy beautiful walks in the surrounding vineyards, mountains and neighbouring Game Park.
Many museums to visit in either Stellenbosch, Paarl or Franschoek. Hiking and Mountain biking, birding and is 40 minutes from Cape Town

Sleepy Willow (Willow Cottage)Willow cottage comes highly recommended.<div>Clean,warm and cosy and well fitted, with comfy beds too.</div><div>Extra little touches, one of which was fresh flowers on the table, were just an example of the pleasant Hostess and her willingness to please her guests.</div><div>Peaceful walks around the farm and dam escorted by her </div><div>lovely dogs was also a treat.</div><div>We will return.</div>

Loved it!We went to a wedding on Natte Valleij farm and loved our beautiful hideaway cottage - where our friends stayed with us and our little ones enjoyed the wide open spaces, the pigs, the pond, the ponies and a lovely lawn to run on. We felt so welcome and appreciated the big, fluffy towels and the down pillows. We had a long, lazy brunch and reluctantly drove back to the city. This will become our getaway spot!
