Spacious and elegantly furnished rooms open onto balconies or the gardens, which have views of the beautifully restored residential area of "The Quarry", surrounding the small lake. Centrally situated in the established suburb of Selborne, yet hidden from the bustle of traffic in a micro-climate of its own. The inn is an ideal haven for business or leisure travellers alike.

Breakfast can be enjoyed on the deck overlooking the lake, which is also the place to meet for a quiet sundowner before dinner. A number of fine restaurants can be recommended nearby. New additions to our establishment include an honesty pub, a sauna and gym as well as a fully wheelchair accessible conference venue.

Quarry Lake Inn is close to East London Golf Course, one of South Africa's top ten, as well as Nahoon Beach, shopping centers, the CBD and most amenities. We offer s laundry service and secure parking. We have been awarded 'Hall of Fame' status by AA Travel Guides 2005/6/7. We accept Visa and MasterCard/Amex and Diners cards.

The rooms are tastefully decorated, clean and I enjoyed the small touches - complimentary fruit bowl, chocolates with a welcome note on arrival. I asked someone to send me an e-mail and on arrival the receptionist told me it had arrived and was in our room. Most places would forget they'd even received the e-mail. The staff were very helpful with our requests and attended to them promptly. They also remembered small details - eg what our breakfast order had been the day before. It is a beautiful, peaceful, quiet setting and yet right in the heart of the city.
