Description
We are the first totally Vegan/Vegetarian Backpacker in SA. Come along and enjoy our Bohemian eco Traveller’s Lodge only five minutes off the N2 minutes before you get to Knysna. We are a perfect stop over or a base to chill, whilst exploring the Garden Route, Tsitsikamma, Natures Valley and further along to Addo National Park or the Wild Coast.

We have a Bali style honesty bar with organic wines and locally brewed beers and serve the most delicious decadent vegan meals. Enjoy sharing in our eco aware greener lifestyle whilst you pick your own veggies ( or do some weeding ) in our huge organic veggie garden. Whilst nature will mostly do the entertaining, you might be lucky enough to arrive whilst some of SA’s top Muso’s record in our award winning Music Studio with Producer Howard Butcher and during the summer season months you can enjoy our sunset soiree’s with some awesomely creative talented singer song writers.

If natures more your thing, you can slow down and do yoga or meditate in an enchanting forest glade, go for magical forest walks, paddle on a large lily pond in our 2 man canoe and feed our retired horses a carrot or two. If adventures are what you are looking for, book a guided Tour or go on our Ancient Elephant Forest & Mountain Hike with our legendary Nature Guide, or we can book you a multitude of adventure activities like sand boarding, kayaking, mountain biking, bungee jumping, paragliding, surfing or any other adventure you wish to experience, all are a mere 10 minutes to an hour away. We loved it even when raining, had awesome time making small campfire toasting marshmallows the snoopy way So yes definitely fun pace for kids too! We will definitely go back, place was clean with lot of attention to detail. Area is fab for hiking and you shouldn't miss out home made pizzas at the Red Barn, restaurant next door.
