Description
The Warmbad Community Campsite is situated 50 km south of Karasburg in the south of Namibia and about 90 km north of the South African border. The community-run site offers accommodation in small bungalows and a spacious campsite.

The campsite comprises five basic bungalows with their own ablutions and braai facilities, and four campsites with a shared ablution facility and braai area. The site has a lovely pool with hot water from the nearby hot springs nearby. Guest can relax in the waters that the locals believe to have healing powers.

The site includes a museum reflecting the history of the Bondelswarts Clan and the German era. Tours can be arranged to see the hot springs, or through the Warmbad village. Traditional dances and music can be arranged for some local entertainment.

Warmbad Community Campsite in Warmbad Reviewed by Ciska van Wyk, South Africa on . it wasn't even one star Our stay at the campsite was very disappointing and very unprofessional ! Upon our arrival the lady said that she did not know about our booking she said that she wasn't informed.So we were forced to pay in full for the room an amount of R300 which means that our deposit  didn't count. She also didn't give me a receipt for the payment. We were just thankful to have a room to sleep.<div>The premises wasn't very pleasant and definitely not up to standard, the tiles of the roofs of several cottages including ours was loose and not save for anyone.</div><div>The swimming area was in a awful state the  indoor swimming pool didn't even have steps to climb in and the  pools on the side was empty. The windows was broken and dirty. The outside pool was also dirty and the grass was very long and it looked like there was no garden or pool maintenance for a very long time it was also not a very save and friendly environment.
