Guests can choose to enjoy their stay in the comfort of one of three quaint, self-catering, fully equipped cottages nestled amongst the orchards of this quiet and peaceful fruit farm. The Weskus Cottage, Karoo Cottage and the Bosveld Cottage each boast their own unique farm Jacuzzi. Expect comfortable simplicity during your stay, as this guest farm offers the charm of the rustic coupled with the luxury of everyday comfort. Each cottage is fully equipped with gas appliances and hot running water, complemented by lamps and candles to complete the beautifully uncomplicated, farm life experience. Electricity is also available on the farm should it be required.

Whether you enjoy complete relaxation or appreciating nature through outdoor activities, Grootnek Guest Farm offers the ideal opportunity to do both. Activities include bird-watching, horse riding, trail hiking, swimming, bass fishing, star-gazing, picking fruit in season, feeding farm animals, and 4x4 trails. Hospitality with a big H We stayed for four day at Grootnek.<p class="smaller"><span class="review-desc" itemprop="description">Gerrie and Gawie were so very friendly and accommodating. They really know what hospitality is. The showed us the farm and let us taste the fruits and products. Gerrie also took us on a picknick in the mountains. The accommodation was was clean and comfortable. Their is no electricity but you really get use to it very quick. It was very relaxing to be in a farm environment and the stars and the 360 degrees mountain views were spectacular. Thank you so much letting us stay on your farm. We hope to come back.  </span></p>

The accommodation was exactly as stated on the website. Cottage was clean and comfortable. Relaxing to be in a farm environment and the stars were spectacular.
