Description
Rondefontein Guest Farm comprises five tastefully furnished chalets as well as a two-bedroomed family chalet. Features include a beautiful garden with a sparkling swimming pool and a fully licensed bar and dining area that offers the greatest home-made Karoo Lamb dishes in the area.

The area around the farm is a mountain biker’s haven boasting a 24 km trail with beautiful views and bird watching. Join us in the cosy dining room with DStv for a hearty English breakfast before heading out for the day or go for a walk on the farm and enjoy the fresh air and wide open spaces. Visit us for the greatest Southern Free State hospitality in the Springfontein District.

The rate quoted is for accommodation only, but if requested a rate for bed and breakfast or dinner, bed and breakfast can be quoted. Children aged three to 11 pay half price.

Friendly and comfortable Springfontein is an ideal place to stop between Johannesburg and Cape Town and Rondefontein an ideal resting place.  Nico and Gerda provide comfortable accommodation set in lovely garden.  The room is more than adequate.  What is important when you are of a certain age, the bathroom is excellent.  There is a well-stocked bar.  Our dinner started with crispy samoosas followed by bobotie, lamb chop and vegetables.  A good homely meal - there was nothing wrong with the breakfast either.  It was simple, comfortable and happy experience.

Dinner was well presented, tasty, South African cooking. An ideal place to stay en route to the coast.
