Description
Kgalagadi-Lodge is located near to the South African entrance of Kgalagadi Transfrontier National Park. The lodge offers six Standard Units with twin beds and six Family Units with twin beds and a sleeper couch for two children.

Each chalet features an en-suite bathroom, linen and towels, air-conditioning and a TV with DStv. There is also an outside kitchen as well as braai facilities on the patio so that guests are able to enjoy some outdoor living. Tea and coffee facilities are provided.

In addition, there are 19 campsites on the property, each accommodating six people and featuring an electricity- and a water point. Some of the campsites have communal ablutions and others have private ablution facilities. Hot water showers are also available.

The lodge offers a shop where guests can buy local meat products and freshly baked products, and is open an hour before and after the Twee Rivieren Gate times. Guests arriving late are able to order picnics that will be left in their room for arrival. A restaurant is open for breakfast and lunch for both guests and those driving into the park, and an ATM is available for guests' convenience.

Kgalagadi Transfrontier National Park is alive with abundant bird- and wild life, however guests require a 4x4 to make their way along the roads as they can be quite rough. Kgalagadi-Lodge offers day tours with their experienced guides. Alternatively for 4x4 enthusiasts, guests can be taken on an adventure tour with their own vehicles through the red sands of the Kalahari dunes.

Kgalagadi-Lodge in Askham Reviewed by Sonelle Devenier, South Africa on . Mooi so!
