Description
Hopetown Frida’s Gastehuis is a lovely and homely accommodation situated on the edge of Hopetown with a beautiful view of the surrounding Karoo landscape. We offer four luxurious and spacious en-suite rooms, each with a European influence and private entrances. Two of the four rooms are each equipped with a kitchenette for self-catering and one is a family room sleeping four guests.

All four rooms have tea and coffee facilities, DStv, air-conditioning, heaters and bar fridges. There is a washing machine and tumble-dryer available on the premises and longer staying guests’ laundry is free of charge. The guesthouse is surrounded by a large, shady garden with braai facilities and safe parking. Relax in the Jacuzzi after a long day of activities. Breakfast is optional and available in the cosy dining room.

Hopetown is a farming community with large irrigation farms along the Orange River at the one side of town and sheep farming on the other side. The view from the rooms gives sight to the open plains, great sunsets and the charm of the countryside. This is an ideal place to relax, unwind and enjoy the tranquillity of the Karoo together with the warm hospitality of Frida's Gastehuis. We have our own water and electricity for any emergency.

The balcony room at Frida's guesthouse was extremely spacious and beautifully furnished. Frida was a warm and charming hostess that really made us feel at home. To crown everything else we had a lovely dinner at Nectarine a small little bistro in town. We will definitely return.
