Description
Akkedisbult Cottage offers comfortable accommodation situated on a working farm, off the N12 in the Northern Cape.

The cottage consists of two bedrooms, a private bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and an open-plan living area. There is a lovely patio area and the garden is completely fenced off, making it safe for young children and pets.

With all the open space surrounding the farm, guests can enjoy long walks or mountain bike rides. The large stone reservoir at the main house provides a refreshing break in summer time. There are braai facilities available with wood supplied.

Experience a very unique opportunity to feed Springbok, as they come within two metres of the vehicle. It offers a perfect chance to take stunning photographs. Snacks and beverages can be taken along by prior arrangement, while enjoying the sunset at the same time.

Akkedisbult Cottage in Hopetown Reviewed by Romi Boom, South Africa on . Absolutely wonderful Akkedisbult Cottage is the most perfect overnight venue anyone on a road trip could wish for. The tranquil setting makes for a relaxing break. The cottage has everything under the sun (electric blankets, hooray!) – and more. The hosts, Nici and Gerald, radiate warmth and hospitality. Nici's goodie bag with take-home rusks were a thoughtful touch. We are spreading the gospel.

Keurig versier en al die aandag en sorg met die klein goedjies bv braaivleisvuur klaar gepak, melk, beskuit selfs kookolie, getuig van goeie beplanning en 'n mens voel sommer lekker bederf. Baie dankie ons sal beslis weerkom, vroulief meen 'n mens moet sommer 3 dae vertoef. Werklik waarde vir jou geld.
